New Membership Applications

We have added 3 new types of membership to OKWA in summer 2021 !

For more details about benefits and fee information on any of these categories,

please contact our Membership Coordinator Natasha Jabre at:

1. Artist Membership: Any professional woman artist living in the Kingston region is eligible to apply for an Artist Membership in OKWA.

Former members of OKWA, after 5 years or more of non-membership,  are required to re-apply to join OKWA.

The following are required for an Artist Membership application:

  • 10 jpegs (of 300 KB or less, each) of work on a CD or by email with titles, medium, size, and date of completion
  • Curriculum vitae on CD or email in Microsoft Word format
  • Statement about the work on CD or email in Microsoft Word format
  • Several works may be requested to be brought for viewing by the Board at time of jurying.
  • Annual membership fee ($40) to be paid upon acceptance. If a qualifying artist is unable to afford the fee, this maybe discussed with the membership coordinator.  If another member can readily afford it, she may wish to pay extra to support another.
